SKY ONE
Graphic Designer
As the Senior Designer for the Sky Original 'Roald & Beatrix: The Tail of the Curious Mouse,' my role was pivotal in crafting the visual identity that captures the essence of this enchanting tale. Inspired by the magical encounter between Beatrix Potter and Roald Dahl, the film celebrates the unlikely bond between a young child and their hero.
Drawing from the nostalgia and wonder of childhood memories associated with these beloved authors, the Key Art concept aims to transport viewers into a whimsical world where imagination knows no bounds. I envisioned the artwork to emerge as if from the pages of a collaborative book written by Potter and Dahl themselves, evoking the timeless charm of their storytelling.
To heighten the magical atmosphere, the scene is set amidst the picturesque hills of England, infused with a touch of Christmassy or wintry allure. Collaborating closely with the creative team, we meticulously crafted every detail to ensure that the Key Art captures the film's spirit and resonates with audiences, inviting them on a journey filled with warmth, wonder, and discovery.
